Since I am in the National Guard I applauded when President Obama spoke about the 100,000 troops that have served in Iraq, and how combat patrols have ended in Iraq which has helped bring many of our troops home. President Obama also fatigued time talking about the main threat to the U.S., which continues to be al-Qaeda. I agreed with President Obama when he talked about the U.S. improving our intelligence, and law enforcement because we have been able to ruin recent terror plots.

On the other hand, I think that improvements still want to be made in airport security because I think that terrorist are still one step leading in finding ways to conceal weapons on planes, and even mistakes in airport security has allowed Americans to get contraband on a airplane. I also think that is what good that President Obama mentioned that even though we have extremist within our borders we must still treat American Muslims with respect. I thought that this was important because American Muslims have been tempered differently since the Sept eleventh attacks on the World Trade Centers, and I feel interchangeable all Americans regardless of race, ethnicity, or religion should be treated the same.
