Tragic Flaws In "A Streetcar Named Desire"

In the play A Streetcar Named Desire, Tennessee Williams gives the main suits of the history sad deformitys which ultimately bring them plenty. The tragic heroes are contrasted from others in the play by their flaws that lead to their ultimate downfall in the end. Blanche du Bois, is a perfect example of a genius whos tragic flaw ultimately leads to her downfall in the end, and Stanley Kowalski is a shell whos flaws hinder Blanche and in the end bring her down. Blanches biggest flaw in the play is her desire. This desire arises because of her constant loneliness which she puts up with by and by her husbands tragic death. From that point on her manners, she goes sliding down a slippery slope. Blanche goes on a search for guys who would fill her desire, in time she never gets an adequate amount, so she moves on. This totally perpetuates her suffering and dirties her establish and reputation. After she has nowhere to go, her desire brings her to her sisters doorsteps.
