The three types of illegal behavior aloneeged against Mr. Madoff that I am going to discuss are humbug, theft and false statements. First, I am going to discuss the alleged imposter. Mr. Madoff was alleged to piddle committed securities fraud, investment advisor fraud, mail fraud and fit out fraud. Fraud is a violation of ones give and it deceives psyche into willingly giving you something under false pretenses. Fraud is unethical and illegal because it takes advantage of gratuitous people that confirm put their trust in a person or in a friendship. The people that were affected by Mr. Madoffs fraudulent activities trusted him and were blindsided when they lost everything. Mr. Madoff pretended to make investments for his clients, all the while he ran the biggest Ponzi scheme of U.S. history (Zambito, T. & Smith, G.B., 2008). Fraud has no place in the conduct of business because it costs innocent people of their hard earned money, costs the order their reputation and even causes a company to close its doors. theft is like fraud but there doesnt redeem to be fraud to have theft. Someone can distinguish to my place of business or my home and steal from me without deceiving me. stealth is the physical taking of someone elses possession, whereas fraud is deceiving someone into giving them your valuables by deception. Theft has no place in the conduct of business because it costs the company money. If just a few employees took a couple pencils home to their kids, the taking of those pencils causes the company lose money and it is stealing.
