Festa Italiana was the beautiful Italian-culture event which I attended. This festival, which famous Italy, took place on Sunday, October 21, 2007. It was all famed in downtown Riverside at White Park from noon to cardinal p.m. (at 3901 Market Street). Tickets at the door were ten dollars, for students and seniors with ID it was reduced to louvre dollars and for children age twelve and under entrance was free. This was the Fourth yearly Festa Italiana that had taken place in Riverside. The street festival that celebrated old-world Italy was the site of great recreation, food, music, a classic Italian car show, bocce and childrens activities.
The fourth annual Festa Italiana on October 21st was another great event hosted by the city of Riverside. With food by the vendors, lively entertainment, and plenty of activities to choose from, the Festa Italiana was adapted to provide its guests with top notch quality.The food was exceptionally darling thanks to the food vendors. With choices from: the traditional pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, pasta, tiramisu, sausage and peppers, cannolis, to seafood cocktails and gelatos. There was as well great entertainment by live singers (singing in Italian).

Along with food and entertainment at the Festa Italiana, the activities that represented the Italian culture were numerous and kinda amusing themselves. There was a pizza toss contest, which in Italian is called La Pizza Getta (la Comptizione); I actually act it myself and I learned that trying to toss pizza profits in the air, over my head was a lot harder than I anticipated. Well actually it was not so much the tossing that was difficult, it was the agency where I had to try to catch the dough without tearing it that was a lot more difficult.
