Dennis Rader was born in Wichita Kansas in1945. His childishness consisted of torturing animals, peeking into windows to watch women undress and actually breaking into homes to mistake womens underwear. He graduated from Wichita State University with a bachelors layer in administration of justice. He then went to the air king for 4 years and married Paula Dietz at the maturate of 26. During his magazine in the air force Dennis had fantasies of bondage and would actually sit around stalking women fanaticizing about tying them up and violent death them. Dennis said these urges were caused by factor X. Factor X was a monster inside of him that made him think the way he did.

His first project was on January 15, 1974 at the age of 28. He chose this particular project because he was attracted to the fact that Josie Otero wore glasses, had mysterious dark hair, and was Hispanic. Josie was only 11 years old.
