Of Mice and Men

Of Mice and Men was written by the author John Steinbeck in 1937. Of Mice and Men is a story of twain friends named George and Lonnie who, in the story, be during the late 1930s era. George is a small and intelligent man who tends to be slightly bitter at times, and Lennie is a very large man without very much intelligence besides at the same time, has a huge heart and total of determination and hope. These two men be what you could call outflank friends.
The story starts out with the two on their way to a new job. They ar both migrant organizeers, who go from roam to place for work. In this stories case, they are both in Salinas, atomic number 20 where they plan on working at a ranch. When the two characters arrive at the ranch that they are meant to work at, they are first met by a man named Candy, a wiz handed swamper who soon becomes one of their friends. They are also met by their bosss mean spirited son, Curley. Curley is a freshly married man, with a very flirtatious wife, who is a major(ip) problem throughout the story, due to her given attention to men. Lennie and George are then left alone in their bunkhouse where they later met by the other workers. One of the first workers they meet is Slim, a scuff driver who is considered to be the leader of the workers and who soon also becomes a good friend to George and Lennie.




From there on in, Lennie and George begin to work and eventually blend in with the other workers, just as if they had been there for years. One night, as Lennie, George and Curley are lounging around in their bunkhouse, while Slim and the others are at work, George and Lennie begin to advert their plans. They plan on raising enough money to pervert their own piece of property where they plan on biography on the fat of the land where they dont wealthy person to worry about migrating from place to place to find work.
