President licoln

Abraham capital of Nebraska, the 16th president of the United States of America was a gravid man and president. Lincoln accomplished many things in his 4 years of presidency concerning enoughity to better the country. The amazing things Lincoln did to better the country were, but not limited to the emancipation Proclamation, Gettysburg Address, and the thirteenth Amendment.
The Emancipation Proclamation was one of the key documents to gaining equal rights. The document initially freed the slaves from the states that the northeasterly beat in the war. A portion of the slaves that were freed from each state were expected to join the northwestwards army. After the war the slaves were then allowed to live on their own terms. It is my opinion that if it werent for the Emancipation Proclamation the southern would have stood a better chance at whacking the North.
The Gettysburg Address was one of Lincolns most far-famed rescuees. The speech he gave was to honor the people that died in the civil war. Although it was meant to honor the dead it was also meant to tell the South that the North was still alright with them and they could put it all in the past. charge though Lincoln spoke for about 5 legal proceeding after a man that had spoke for 2 hours, his speech was remembered and the man who spoke before him wasnt really remembered for his speech.

The 13th Amendment is the document that sealed the deal so that the slaves were free for good. If it had not been for this documents we might still have had slaves today.
