Today, our fellow citizens, our way of life, our very immunity came under attack in a series of conceive and deadly terrorist acts. The victims were in airplanes, or in their offices; secretaries, businessmen and women, army and federal workers; moms and dads, friends, and neighbors. America heard those words the evening of September 11th from President Bush and saw the events playing oer and over again while thinking this must be a bad dream or a nightmare.



This could non have happened. Why would anyone want to attack the United States? Who scorned the United States so much as to kill so many innocent lives? The reasons for this personnel just kept streak through everyones mind with no answers. Americans had come to take for granted and feel very comfortable thinking terrorism and violence could never happen here on United States soil. Before 9/11 Americans had one very absolute perception of their reality. After that day those perceptions changed; the nations political attitudes, social attitudes, and public perception. The world is always different when violence of unprecedented magnitude is inflicted.
