There are some distinguishable paths I would handle to explore in relation to tattoos. With so umpteen divergent themes, designs and mediums (pencil drawings, fine lined drawings, stencilling, markers and some designs even come from paintings) abstruse in tattooing Im left with so many different ways I can go. I plump along reading and noticeing about the meanings behind certain tattoos and with so many themes to choose from anything is possible. It would be fascinating to explore the influences tattoos surrender over people and the way they can bring croped up and mental closure to people. I would as well like to learn about the techniques used in tattooing such as blending and outlining the designs.

There are several tattoo studios located slightly the Geelong area and I wish to visit as many as possible to get a clearer picture of how things work and the techniques used. I will hopefully be able to memorize the artists design the tattoos as this is the area I am loosely focusing on. Through researching images and designs I will explore the bulky range of themes and topics associated with tattooing. The subject matter for my final designs will also vary through black and grey, Japanese, tribal, marine life, meaningful tattoos and separate various themes.





I will more specifically tie-up my designs as black and grey work showing the pedigree of shading and the effect it can have on a design. Japanese inspired theme is a very freehanded theme and I may focus several designs on the common subgroups of Japanese Tattoos; dragons, koi fish, etc. With the tribal design I will try include a few different designs as it is a very common theme of tattooing, in saying this I think its too much of a cliché tattoo. Marine life I think is a really cool theme and can help take a crap some striking designs, I specifically like the desire of octopuses and how they can transform into a tattoo design.
